Biodiversity and forests

  • The dominant vegetation is the herbaceous savannah which can reach 2 to 3 meters
  • Forests (islands, galleries: 9%) and wooded or tree savannahs (14.8%) and shrubby savannahs 21.8%. The rest is made up of crops, more or less mixed with savannah or residual shreds of forest.
