\u00a01- Relief <\/strong><\/p>

Son relief est constitu\u00e9 essentiellement des Plateaux gr\u00e9s : NSA-NGO (600 m), Djambala (789 m) et les Plateaux Koukouya (860 m). Ils sont entour\u00e9s de collines et se prolongent au Nord par une plaine mar\u00e9cageuse.<\/p>


2- Climat<\/strong><\/p>

Son climat est influenc\u00e9 par la d\u00e9pendance de deux facteurs : l'altitude autour de 800 m et la proximit\u00e9 de l'\u00e9quateur. Le d\u00e9partement jouit donc d'un climat sub-\u00e9quatorial guin\u00e9en avec une abondance de pluviom\u00e9trie (1600 mm \u00e0 2200 mm d'eau par an ). La temp\u00e9rature moyenne annuelle oscille entre 23\u00a0 et 25\u00b0 C.\u00a0

3- Hydrographie<\/strong><\/p>

Les Plateaux Bat\u00e9k\u00e9s constituent un des plus importants ch\u00e2teaux d'eau du Congo o\u00f9 naissent de nombreux fleuves et rivi\u00e8res : la L\u00e9fini, la Nk\u00e9ni, le Mpama, l'Alima, Nkomo, la Louara, l'Agnie, la Fourga, la Makilitsa, la Pouolo et la Nambili.

4- V\u00e9g\u00e9tation<\/strong><\/p>

Sa v\u00e9g\u00e9tation est constitu\u00e9e de savanes herbeuses sur les Plateaux et for\u00eat galerie le long des rivi\u00e8res.\u00a0<\/p>
